Changing Deposit Slips

Take the following steps to change a Deposit Slip:

  1. Click Tools and select Deposit Slips... to open the Select Account window.
  2. Select one of the following options:
    • General - changes a deposit slip for a general bank account
    • Trust - changes a deposit slip for a general bank account
  3. Enter an account number in the Bank Accounts box.
  4. Enter a date in the Start Date box to include receipts on or after that date.
  5. Enter a date in the End Date box to include receipts on or before that date.
  6. Click to check mark Ignore Direct Deposit, Wire, and Credit Card Entries to hide directly deposited transactions.
  7. Click Change to open the Deposit Slips List window.
  8. Click to highlight the deposit slip you want to edit.
  9. Click Change to open the Change Deposit Slip window.
  10. Accept or change the name in the Bank box.
  11. Accept or change the name in the Branch box.
  12. Accept or change the name in the Holder box.
  13. Accept or change the number in the Transit box.
  14. Accept or change the number in the Acct# box.
    NOTE: Use Bank Accounts - Overview to change the default settings.
  15. Accept or change the number in the Slip NO box.
  16. Enter the process date in the Date box.
  17. Accept or change the default template in the Template box.
  18. Click to highlight and check mark each receipt you want to include on the deposit slip.
  19. Click Select All to check mark and include all visible receipts on the deposit slip.
  20. Click Deselect All to uncheck mark and exclude all visible receipts on the deposit slip.
  21. Click Remove Entry to remove the selected receipt(s) from this and all future deposit slips.
    NOTE: Verify the total amount for deposit in the Total box.
  22. Select the Output options.
  23. Click Print to print the deposit slip.
  24. Click OK to save and close the Change Deposit Slip window.
  25. NOTE:

    Once you include a receipt on a deposit slip, it will no longer show in the Mark Items - Create Deposit Slips window.
